The focus of your role

Technical Consultants typically fulfill a “Developer” role on client engagements. The Developer is one of the key technical members of the delivery team on a Salesforce implementation project. The Developer has responsibility for the design and delivery of part or all of the technical Salesforce solution (typically /, including the technical design, development of code, architecture and interfaces.

What you’ll do

  • Engage with client stakeholders to analyse business processes and functional requirements in the context of one or more Salesforce service e.g.
  • Devise and develop the solution design and architecture
  • Contribute to the development and data migration strategy
  • Develop and deliver quality solution design documentation, and oversee the development and review of other design deliverables
  • Assist in the configuration/development of the Salesforce solution
  • Demonstrate the solution to the client at regular intervals during the build
  • Support unit testing, system testing, and acceptance testing activities

What you’ll bring

  • Good subject matter knowledge in at least one Salesforce solution e.g. /
  • Solid understanding of Object Oriented development and design, experience in using design patterns and ability to write clean, well-refactored maintainable code
  • Able to demonstrate a solid understanding of the Salesforce solution technology stack and associated tools
  • Good experience developing on the platform with strong configuration and design skills
  • Solid knowledge of Visualforce and Apex
  • Experience in defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
